Job Description

GitHub is looking for someone to join our team who can help accelerate GitHub’s collaboration with the Microsoft Global Demand Center (GDC). As a Program Manager you will support the development and expansion of our partnerships with the GDC, by focusing on integration, project management, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

As a Program Manager, you will have a breadth of responsibilities which include:

  • Relationship Management & Rhythm of Business
    • Establish, manage, and support regular meetings to build strong connections between GitHub and Microsoft GDC stakeholders
    • Act as an “air traffic controller” bringing relevant groups together to drive further integration between GitHub and the MSFT GDC
    • Maintain relationships across all of Microsoft's GDC areas to ensure global alignment and discovery of new integration opportunities
    • Understand and report on key metrics that measure the success of GDC and GH integration efforts
    • Act as the voice of the GDC integration in internal GitHub leadership meetings
  • Project Management
    • Manage jointly approved initiatives to help increase GitHub’s growth via the GDC.
    • Ensure all needed reporting is in place, contributing to data integration projects, gathering requirements for workstreams, and liaising with stakeholders at GitHub and Microsoft
    • Partner with GitHub marketing teams on joint marketing/demand generation opportunities within the GDC.
    • Contribute to, and review marketing materials to ensure information is complete and accurate
    • As necessary, manage and/or provide thought leadership for joint communications across GitHub and Microsoft marketing organizations

Qualifications

  • 5+ years working in demand generation, product marketing, digital marketing, program management, or equivalent experience
  • Experience with organizations such as Global Demand Marketing, Product Marketing
  • Experience driving joint results with partnerships, with a proven ability to execute
  • Track record for being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through on projects
  • Exceptional team player with a curious mind; eager to collaborate among other internal teams to iterate on existing ideas
  • Experience with executive stakeholder management and a strong executive presence
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Knowledge or experience in Cloud, DevOps, DevSecOps deployments or CI/CD tools


(Colorado only*) Minimum salary of $89,200 to maximum $189,300 + bonus + equity + benefits.
· Note: Disclosure as required by sb19-085 (8-5-20) of the minimum salary compensation for this role when being hired in Colorado.


Location: In this role, you can work remotely from anywhere in the United States or onsite in one of GitHub’s U.S. offices (San Francisco, Bellevue, Raleigh).
