Job Description

Siemens Real Estate (SRE) is seeking a motivated, solution-oriented professional with a strong can-do attitude. We are looking for a Cybersecurity and Security IoT Professional who supports more than 230+ Siemens locations throughout the United States and Canada

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts throughout Siemens.
  • Provide expertise to the Regional Asset Managers and operations groups of SRE US in support of cybersecurity risk management and security within the infrastructure and product portfolios.
  • Monitor and maintain existing tools, methods and solutions to identify potential areas of improvement to further enhance quality.
  • Lead communication of cybersecurity and security risks and mitigation measures within SRE US.
  • Lead the vulnerability management process by with support from Siemens US Cybersecurity and Security teams
  • Monitor the local US cybersecurity and security incidents and assists with the response and coordination with internal customers, vendors and management.
  • Contribute to internal risk management processes.
  • Establish strong trusted relationships with key stakeholders throughout the organization and maintain a network into the global Siemens cybersecurity and security organizations to access specialist knowledge and incorporate it into the existing operations.

Requirements:

For a Senior Cybersecurity and Security IoT Professional, you will need 7+ of experience in Cybersecurity, Security IoT, Consulting, IT Audit and / or technology related fields.

For a Cybersecurity and Security IoT Professional, you will need 5+ of experience in Cybersecurity, Security IoT, Consulting, IT Audit and / or technology related fields.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of access control systems, security systems (CCTV), building management systems, fire, life, safety systems.
  • Awareness of technology megatrends such as cloud computing and other disruptive technologies.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into business-friendly terminology (verbally and written).
  • May include minimal domestic travel

Preferred Requirements:

  • Prior experience (including internships) in Cybersecurity, Cybersecurity Risk Management, or Security IoT, IT Audit is a strong plus.

The Cybersecurity and Security IoT Professional provides the necessary support to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of our data and information assets. The professional will be responsible for identifying, communicating, and assisting with maintenance and enhancement of the cyber posture for SRE. The professional will support team members with our vulnerability management process, incident response, and contribute to strategic initiatives.
