Engineering Internship - Southfield, MI/Marshall, MI

Eaton's Vehicle Group is seeking an Engineering Co-op at one of our Michigan facilities: Galesburg, Marshall, or Southfield. The Co-op will support our various engineering teams within Vehicle Global Products and Technology.

Position Description:

• Here is your opportunity to gain valuable work experience and develop your leadership skills.
• Our internship program is designed to provide opportunities to students who demonstrate the same high level of ethics, values, creativity, and performance we expect from our employees.
• During the 8–12-week internship, students will work on projects that have a measurable impact on our business and will be coached and mentored by Eaton leaders.
• The objective of the internship is to develop students through practical product engineering and new technology experiences, as well as assist in the personal development of leadership competencies through training, networking, and coaching.
• The assignment will help the participant develop a wide range of leadership and functional competencies within the field of engineering.
• Opportunities are available for those students interested in specific engineering functions such as Design, Manufacturing, Lean / Continuous Improvement, and Electrical Technology.

Basic Qualifications:

• Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Engineering.
• Must maintain a 2.8 or higher GPA.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without company sponsorship.
• Must currently reside within 50 miles of Southfield, MI, Galesburg, MI, or Marshall, MI.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Sophomore or Junior status.
• Prior internship or co-op experience.
• Must have strong mechanical skills and be willing to work in a hands-on environment.
