Job Description
This is an 18-24 month contract for a recent graduate in our Power Tools division, located at our head office in Mississauga, ON. A hybrid work environment is available. This role includes graphic design and marketing specialist responsibilities.
Graphic Designer Description
- Creating marketing collateral for our e-com team: banners & call-outs
- Working with our sales managers to create in-store point of purchase assets: posters, floor graphics, on-merchandising communication etc
- Working with our distribution partners to create flyers for Bosch events communicating the product benefits and the event deals
- Liaising with the US marketing team to “Canadianize” and leverage US assets locally
- Working with the marketing team to support Instagram campaigning: graphics & simple videos
- Designing layouts for e-blasts and campaigns
- Create original and edit existing print materials – including product brochures and leaflets, advertisements, POS displays; provide print-ready files for production
- Design web materials and e-communications – including static and animated banner advertisements, email blasts and internal and external newsletters
- Design graphics and promotional materials for trade shows and other events
- Work closely with the Marketing department, including project management, social media manager, web development, product marketing management and others within the organization
Marketing Specialist Description
- Assist the marketing team with the creating and building of powerpoint presentations
- Collaborate with business and product area owners to develop, coordinate and manage communications in alignment with our go-to-market strategy.
- Work with outside vendors in the development of sales support materials like QP's and POP displays
- Work with sales leaders to development and implementation of specific key account programs for sell-in and sell-through for all customers
- Provide specific programs to help drive the industrial and retail channels through the development and implementation of focus initiatives aimed at maximizing the Bosch brand position and ensuring a dominant status.
- Assess, determine and execute new product launches, establishing targets and goals for post-launch evaluation
- Assist the sales teams in key account business plan implementation, providing goal setting standards, product segment direction initiatives, and promotional activity planning
- Actively support field events and trade shows
- Develop and sustain regular brand marketing, with specific emphasis to sales, updating programs, product information, events and performance success stories
Qualifications
- Must be a recent graduate (2022) of a related post-secondary program preferably in the field of Business/Communications
- Excellent Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop skills
- Extremely well organized with superb attention to detail
- Excellent prioritization skills
- Passion and interest in sales and marketing
- Ability to analyze reports using Microsoft Excel and communicate learnings effectively
- Ability to think creatively and improve upon established processes
- Excellent English verbal and written communications skills
- Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills
