The Data Analytics Leader will play a vital role transforming Mosaic’s data analytics capabilities to support our fast growing retail lending business in the clean energy space but also contribute to the vision/execution of future data-as-a-service offerings and capabilities. The leader will be responsible for thought leadership and sequenced execution of the following data analytics capabilities:

• Develop a vision and roadmap for delivering business-value led and high impact data products for Mosaic’s internal and external customers.
• Partner with Business, Product and CDO to set the standards and controls for quality of analytics data across the company.
• Lead vision and strategy for definition, design and delivery of new data products for internal stakeholders, Mosaic customers and partners.
• Drive discovery from both a qualitative and quantitative context to build solid, data driven, business plans and strategies.
• Conceive value-adding insight, predictions, and recommendations to drive growth, optimize profit and returns.
• Understand the drivers of business results and how data/analytics can accelerate outcomes; drive theory to execution with business partners to directly impact results.
• Evaluate existing BI solution and its ability to to answer business questions in a performant and cost-effective way.
• Partner with Engineering, GTM, Product to define and execute against a data roadmap that supports business objectives leveraging a Data as a Product approach.
• Partner with senior leaders to understand organizational KPIs, understand the input metrics, and support with needed data.
• Support the data needs of a cross-functional customer set (GTM, Product, Customer Success) through a data analytics team.
• Develop a framework for evaluation and prioritization of data asks across the organization to satisfy the highest impact asks.
• Partner with each department to help them proactively use data and analytics to achieve their goals.
• Collaborate with data org teams on the requirements, performance, and maintenance of our data platform.
• Conceive value-adding insight, predictions, and recommendations to drive growth, optimize profit and returns.
• Understand the drivers of business results and how data/analytics can accelerate outcomes; drive theory to execution with business partners to directly impact results
• Unlock new value through data sharing / data exchanges with external parties.
• Continually, succinctly, and clearly communicate progress and results against the data/analytics roadmap within the team and with peers.
• Investigate and leverage - Continually “bring the outside in” to learn and deploy best practices from other organizations or industry forums.

Skills And Experience

• 10+ years of technical leadership experience, with demonstrated experience working cross-functionally with Engineering, Product and Operations teams.
• 7+ years of experience in a data analytics leadership role.
• Experience owning and maintaining organizational use of BI tools such as Tableau and Looker.
• Experience building and leading teams of data product managers, data analysts, data analytics developers and data analytics designers.
• A thought leader in terms of using data for driving business outcomes; you thrive on educating those around you in best practices and how to integrate appropriate data into business decisions.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Passion for data education and literacy.
