Job Description
- Customer engineering contact responsible for providing ETK solution proposal documentation and written ECU integration customer proposals including description of services to be provided and acceptance criteria
- Lead role in performing ETK to ECU integration work, and consults with customers on all aspects of the ETK application including ECU SW integration, ECU HW integration, and re-flash script development in support of engineering service projects.
- Securing and aligning of commitments from ETK development team and/or integration team to provide needed items, and driving of the project from start to finish
- Contribute to the product development of the ETK products developed in the Ann Arbor location: integration of (X)ETK’s with target microcontrollers (Hardware and Software), re-flash script development, project management, generate customer requirements for adapter boards, and generation of product documentation.
- Performs trouble shooting and support of ETK's for US, Japanese, and occasional European ECU and OEM customers
- Lead role in creation of ETK product documentation to enable ease of use and integration
- Consultant on all new US ETK projects in the requirements and design phases
- Work with Engineering Services to assist in providing quotations when applicable
ETK is Hardware & Software product for interfacing to micro-controller memory
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Engineering, BSEE \ BSCE preferred
- 2-10 years application engineering experience SW/FW design for embedded microcontrollers (C, C++ and assembly language)
- Business development and or marketing of engineering services Hardware engineering experience with Automotive microcontrollers (NXP, Renesas, Infineon)
- Use of embedded development tools like debugger, logic analyzer, oscilloscope, ICE, compilers, etc.
- Demonstrated project management skills
- Familiar with C++, familiar with object oriented design & analysis
- Experience with debugging assembly language on embedded microcontroller systems
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to travel domestically up to up to 20%
- Position requires someone local without sponsorship requirements.
- Understanding of JTAG or DAP interface.
