Teaching kids to think critically and communicate effectively has never been more important, and NoRedInk helps students become better writers in more than 60% of middle and high schools in the U.S. We're looking for a self-starting, goal oriented Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing sales team.

Our SDRs play the crucial role of breaking into new accounts by fostering relationships with multiple contacts within all levels of our target customer segments, generating pre-qualified leads, and setting appointments for the Account Executive team. This individual will learn our product inside and out, demonstrate its value to a variety of educational stakeholders, and help convert interested parties into satisfied clients.

In this role, you will:

• Drive NoRedInk’s growth through outbound prospecting efforts, generating qualified sales leads that will turn into opportunities and closed partnerships with schools and districts by cold-calling and targeted email marketing campaignsResearch accounts to identify key players and decision makers
• Be persistent, conduct follow-up calls and emails until meetings are set
• Conduct high-level conversations with senior level executives to generate interest
• Articulate NoRedInk’s business value proposition to decision makers to assess buying interest
• Exemplify NoRedInk’s mission and values in your day-to-day work

About You:

• Have a degree from a four-year college or university
• Highly organized, process driven, and goal-oriented
• Take pride in your written and oral communications skills
• You love learning new things and pick up new technologies quickly
• Motivated by achieving daily, weekly, and monthly goals
• Interested in establishing a career in sales
• Collaborative and coachable, you know how to use feedback to improve your practice
• Bring passion, work ethic, and a desire to make a difference

Bonus:

• Some exposure to B2B software sales (internships count!) is advantageous
• Experience working with Salesforce or any other intricate CRM
• Experience cold-calling and cold-emailing

Starting salary for a Sales Development Representative at NoRedInk is 48,000 base + 19,000 sales commission, paid quarterly. Sales commission is uncapped, and 100% of the individual’s benefits will be paid by NoRedInk.
