Job Description

  • Would you like to shape the future of AI for automotive controls with us? We develop innovative AI based controls for multiple automotive domains like powertrain-, braking-, steering systems and motorsports with the latest data-based approaches.
  • Based on the input of our domain experts, data- and ML-engineers you scout, propose, analyze and test algorithms and machine learning systems. Thereby you find the best tradeoff between precision and available computational resources, varying form large scale cloud systems to embedded devices.
  • You coach, consult and train junior data scientists and ML developers with respect to methods and algorithms by supporting them with your practical experience.
  • Within the Bosch Groupe you realize knowledge management and exchange.
  • You take responsibility for multiple technical workstreams.
  • As a part of a cross-functional agile project team you will work on exciting and diverse challenges.

Qualifications

  • Education: Master's degree or similar in Statistics, Data Science, Information Technology or similar with a focus on Artificial Intelligence.
  • Personality and working method: Team player, experienced in activities requiring strong analytical thinking and pro-active behavior. Structured and self-orientating. Communication adapted to diverse target groups.
  • Experience and Knowledge: 4 years+ working experience. Methods for design, development and testing of AI-based functions for structured and time-series data. Experienced in the fields of classification, regression, clustering, neural networks, Gaussian process models, SVMs, random forests, CNNs, RNNs, LSTMs, active learning, statistical methods.
  • Development environments & libraries: Keras, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-Learn. Usage of dedicated ML-hardware and computing clusters is a plus.
  • Qualification: Clean code and modern software engineering skills, strong skills in Python.
  • Languages: Fluent in German and English.
