Job Description
- The focus of your job is the holistic coordination of the development and delivery of a software platform for an automotive multiprocessor system on chip (SoC)
- You will be responsible for managing multiple software streams (tools, firmware, application code, drivers) and integration into release packages.
- As SoC Software Program Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing multiple software development projects, ensuring compliance with internal and customer specifications (time, cost, functionality, and quality), motivating and leading a team with multiple business units and locations and making decisions within the scope of the project.
- In addition, you will lead progress reporting and escalation of decisions beyond the project scope to the steering committee and support the project team in technical decision making to drive the project forward.
- Last but not least, you will be responsible for financial plans, resource allocation, preparation of milestone meetings and project documentation.
Qualifications
- Education: completed university degree (Masters/Diploma/PhD) in in materials science, engineering, electrical engineering, microsystems engineering or an equivalent subject
- Personality and Working Practice: result oriented, leadership mentality, problem-solving oriented
- Experience and Knowledge: working experience in embedded software and firmware development (DSP, ARM); strong experience as Program Manager; knowledge of design and product qualification methodology for Automotive; moderation skills; agile and waterfall project management methods; basic understanding of requirements and methods acc. ISO26262 (e.g. FMEDA, FTA, metrics)
- Languages: very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
