Job Description

Packaging Component – material management (55%)

  • Develop material incoming inspection procedure, execute sampling and visual checks by leveraging 3PL resources both at inhouse and external warehouse, and execute functional testing at QC Lab. Manage inspection records with SAP data entry.
  • Develop a collaborative relationship with R&D Packaging, Supplier QA and key suppliers to achieve target quality and improve it when needed
  • Manage standard samples & retain samples arrangement and maintenance.
  • Manage outside re-works of components if required

Issues Resolution/Continuous Improvement (25%)

  • Drive issue resolution through root cause assessment and develop & execute CAPA in collaboration with site & supplier QA, Operations and suppliers.
  • Certify CAPA completion and effectiveness
  • Escalate critical issues to QA/Operations leadership as required
  • Investigate customer & consumer complaints
  • Disposition out-of-spec materials, as directed
  • Monitor progress and take necessary actions against to improvement initiatives identified

Document Review & Auditing (10%)

  • Conduct documentation reviews in the plant for compliance with existing procedures and instructions, and verify the effectiveness of procedures and instructions versus Estee Lauder requirements and needs
  • Initiate, revise and review controlled documentation including procedures, investigations, deviations, and reports.
  • Participate in routine GMP audits in the plant

Training/Coaching (10%)

Provide training and coaching to QA, Logistics and Operations on topics such as SOP, GMP and root cause analysis
