About The Job

Are you ready to join one of the greatest marketing teams in SaaS? Drift, the conversational cloud company, is looking for a Director of Demand Generation to join their role. This role will lead all aspects of our global demand generation efforts, functioning as the transformative visionary, tactical futurist, and the ultimate connector of pipeline to our sales team. This role, reporting to the VP of Revenue Marketing, will work closely with the broader Revenue Marketing Team with tight partnership Digital Marketing, Sales Development, and Marketing Operations. Drift has established one of the strongest brands in B2B, created a scaled pipeline generation engine, and needs its next leader to take Drift into its next revenue chapter.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop and deliver a quarterly and annual demand generation strategy focusing on hitting top-of-the-funnel acquisition goals as well as leading our account-based marketing (ABM) strategy.
  2. Lead and strengthen a team of stellar marketers by inspiring them and pushing them into creating extraordinary programs.
  3. Develop and maintain relationships with senior sales and marketing leaders to align teams around our campaign strategy and enable them to turn engagement into pipeline and pipeline into revenue.
  4. Improve the efficiency and throughput of the campaigns team and create scalable, predictable, and repeatable demand programs.
  5. Become passionate about the entire account lifecycle at Drift, looking for ways to increase pipeline velocity, average sales price, and opportunities to build delightful moments for our audience.
  6. Partner with Marketing Ops around important metrics, forecasting and pacing, and providing executive leadership with insights and recommendations on performance.

Qualifications

  • 10 years of experience in B2B SaaS, preferably with sales/marketing technology.
  • 5+ years of experience in B2B marketing and account-based marketing.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and achieve results.
  • Demonstrated track-record of building pipeline in partnership with Sales Development and Sales.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Drift, and a modern B2B marketing tech stack.
  • Experience with planning and forecasting, and completing a demand and target-account strategy.
  • Passionate about marketing (to marketers, no less), and telling incredible stories to the right audiences.
