About the Team Fanatics Collectibles is a new company working at the intersection of collectibles and technology. Backed by some of the best investors, sports properties and operators in the world, we are integrating with Fanatics’ global digital sports platform – which includes 900 sports relationships and more than 81 million reachable fans - to reimagine the collectibles business for the 21st century. Fanatics Collectibles is looking for a Biz Ops Rockstar to tackle some of the highest priority, highest complexity, and highest visibility initiatives on our organization’s strategic roadmap. This role reports directly to the Director of Business Operations (who reports into Fanatics Collectibles’ COO). This Business Operations Analyst will simultaneously engage with several high-impact initiatives. Given the Biz Ops team’s end-to-end mandate, this role can expect to both 1) evaluate and scope potential strategic initiatives, as well as 2) to drive execution and ultimately ensure value capture. Further, strong candidates can expect to “rotate” – gaining exposure to & tackling key business objectives for business leaders elsewhere in the organization where a strong mutual fit exists (this may include reporting to another leader for a short period of time if there is strong interest). The ideal candidate is a highly flexible self-starter with top-notch analytical skills, a demonstrated propensity for solving difficult problems, and a clear team-first mindset. Candidates with a passion for sports, culture, & entertainment will likely find themselves a strong cultural fit.

Within the first 6 months, you will:

    • Help drive multiple high-impact business initiatives and, together with the Director and Biz Ops Team, work cross-functionally to ensure project success
    • Set goals, report findings, and help present progress updates to the COO and other key leaders
    • Work with the entire Biz Ops team to identify, size, and actively prioritize all potential initiatives / opportunities on the roadmap
    • “Rotate” for a period of up to a few months to tackle a high-priority business initiative with a key business leader elsewhere in Fanatics Collectibles.
    • Engage with a wide array of end-consumers and channel partners to better understand industry dynamics and refine recommendations accordingly
    • Become a subject-matter-expert in all things Trading Cards!

The ideal candidate:

    • 1-2 years of experience, with a preference for Management Consulting, Strategy, Finance/Accounting, or Biz Ops roles
    • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, accounting or similar preferred
    • Strong quantitative modelling & analytical skills, excellent written & verbal communication skills
    • Team-first mindset, with a passion for solving highly complex problems together
    • Ability to handle a multi-tasking environment, meet deadlines, and work across a wide range of high priority initiatives
    • Confidence, intellectual curiosity, ability cut through ambiguity, and a desire to learn
