Description:This position will be responsible for all warehouse, floor support, and logistics functions for multiple sites throughout the SOF GLSS aviation Northwest Florida area of responsibility. Duties will include but are not limited to:
-Managing a team of both exempt and non exempt direct reports in multiple geographical locations.
-Managing two warehouses supporting both onsite production as well as operations at offsite locations.
-All floor support activities for a production site including aviation tool room operations.
-Coordinating cross functionally to support operations and meet schedule requirements.
-Managing the SPARES program.
-Ensure production level conveyances are built accurately and on time to support production schedule.
-Responsible for PSA auditing, calibration schedules and the MPR process.
-Troubleshooting SAP and GOLD related issues.
-SME for Logistics and PP&C Command Media as well as Logistics and Production Control functions in SAP.
Basic Qualifications:
-Previous leadership experience
-Experience working in a production site environment
-Proven team player and ability to coordinate cross-functionally
-Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
-SAP experience
-Experience working in a warehouse environment or similar inventory controlled environment
Desired Skills:
-SAP super-user (current or prior) and/or expert level SAP skills
-Airforce logistics experience
-GOLD experience
-Production Control experience preferably in an aviation production site
-Experience leading change
-Manufacturing Planner and/or Logistics experience in a production environment
