We are a fast-growing startup looking for an Account Coordinator for an exciting new position that will allow for exposure across accounts, functions and facets of Retail. This role will report into the Associate Director of Channel Strategy and will not only assist with Account Management responsibilities and learn about all key customers and the fundamentals of sales, but will also assist with internal strategic planning and execution.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Be comfortable and thrive wearing different “hats” throughout the day: jumping from analytics to strategy to assistance with ease and excellence
  • Become an expert on Nielsen analytics and the skill of storytelling through data to support cross-functional data needs that will drive business growth
  • Optimize and drive data reporting for the Wholesale team in conjunction with Analytics team; help measure and analyze performance and provide recommendations for future business growth
  • Learn 4P fundamentals (pricing, promotion, placement and product); Consolidate Wholesale team requests, maintaining promotion and pricing trackers and ensuring channel strategy elements are consistent across key accounts
  • Learn how different accounts work and assist Account Managers across channels with varied account management tasks such as new item set up, sample requests, meeting preparation, etc.
  • Attend key cross-functional meetings and coordinate tasks cross-department, with focus on Marketing and Operations tasks
  • Attend key external meetings, ensuring follow-ups handled with excellence from a project management perspective
  • Take ownership for key cross-functional projects across the organization, interacting regularly with department heads and teams
  • Opportunity for exposure and growth across functions in the organization, including (but not limited to!) Operations, Performance Marketing, Sales, Direct-To-Consumer and Traditional Product /Brand Marketing
REQUIREMENTS
  • 2+ years of work experience
  • Experience working with retailers in a data-driven role preferred
  • Strong excel / analytical skills - experience with Looker or Nielsen a plus
