www.fanaticsinc.com The Financial Analyst will serve as a key member of the Finance Technology team, supporting corporate business units, capital planning / budgeting / forecasting, and FP&A systems. This position reports to the Senior Manager of Finance. Responsibilities Support all key financial processes in the area of FP&A for global technology, including partnering with key stakeholders to produce the annual budget, strategic plan, monthly forecasts, and ad hoc reporting / analytical support Create, develop, and maintain metrics and reports for the business as needed for use in weekly and monthly financial reporting Extensively utilize excel to collect and manage quantitative data for the purpose of creating meaningful reports to drive business improvement Recommend actions through analysis, interpreting data, and making ROI or comparative analyses on projects Work with data source providers to ensure that key decision data is accurate, automated, and timely Maintain knowledge of the technology organization and build relationships with stakeholders within both corporate finance and the technology team Have a proven ability to manage competing priorities Qualifications: BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering and/or similar discipline with analytical bias 2+ years relevant experience in a finance role Strong analytical and critical thinking skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization Demonstrated financial acumen and/or analytical experience including familiarity with concepts of forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and/or data interpretation and analysis Ability to meet tight deadlines, prioritize workload and achieve effective results in a fast-paced, dynamic, ever-growing and often ambiguous environment; effective multi-tasking skills are vital Intermediate Microsoft (Excel, Powerpoint) applications knowledge
