About the Position

We are looking for a Trading Desk Administrator to support one of the trading or technology desks in our New York office. In this fast-paced role, you’ll serve as an expert coordinator on office logistics and operations, and be the “go-to person” at the desk who knows who to call and what to do to get the job done.

You will balance a high volume and wide range of tasks, which will include helping the desk with booking meeting rooms, travel and expense reimbursements, onboarding new hires, organizing team-building events, and coordinating with other parts of the firm on desk moves.

We are looking for someone with excellent people skills and a “no-job-too-small” attitude. Your ability to multitask, find solutions, work with many different personalities, and recognize the nuances of the job will be key to your success. Desk Administrators will participate in an Office Administration training program to learn the inner workings of the firm before joining a specific desk.

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of relevant experience in corporate administration or corporate hospitality
  • Comfortable working in a hectic trading environment; highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
  • Understands the importance of working independently and proactively following-up to close the loop on tasks and projects
  • Enjoys helping people, building relationships, and solving problems
  • Can work some early morning and evening hours
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong G Suite, Excel, and Word skills and a willingness to learn new computer systems
  • Project management experience is a plus
  • Fluency in English required
