This Role’s Purpose:

Optoro’s Strategy & Operations team tackles big issues facing the business including driving growth through Partnerships. The Manager, Strategy & Business Operations will report directly to and support the Director of Strategy & Operations in managing relationships with our key partners to drive revenue & growth. Some of our partners, including Zebra Technologies and UPS, are also investors pushing the boundaries of technology in our industry. You will own these relationships with the goal of innovating together.

This is a growth opportunity for anyone passionate about sustainability and motivated to work in tech with exposure to senior leadership. You will be a critical member of a small but growing team, starting out focused on Partnerships with the opportunity to specialize or grow into a more broad Strategy role.

This role must be on-site at our corporate office located in Washington, D.C. with some flexibility of working remotely. We are currently in-office 2 days per week but this could change depending on the team’s schedule. For on-site roles, Optoro offers flexible remote time throughout the year.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage the day-to-day execution for Optoro partners including coordination of joint go-to-market (GTM), marketing, and product co-development opportunities
  • Develop, maintain, and help drive GTM plans for both partners & related strategic projects across the Optoro product portfolio (working closely with teams across the company including Product Marketing, Sales, Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Legal)
  • Own executive team updates and regular evaluation of Partners against our goals (OKRs)
  • Support ongoing updates to Optoro’s partnership strategy, continuously monitoring competitive landscape and industry trends to ensure success against our goals
  • Support development of partnership onboarding / operating processes as Optoro scales
  • Attend industry events to support the internal Partnerships & Sales teams along with external Partnerships stakeholders, in order to drive leads and grow revenue

Who You Are:

  • 2-5 years experience in consulting, tech, account management, sales / sales operations, or related experience (i.e., managing many stakeholders with competing priorities)
  • Excellent relationship building & management skills, with deep client-facing experience
  • Strong written / oral communication skills with both internal & external stakeholders
  • Anticipatory mindset with proactive problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to multitask without sacrificing quality
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, often ambiguous environment
  • Proficiency with both Google suite and Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience in the retail / e-commerce sector (preferred, not required)
  • Experience presenting complex topics to senior executives (preferred, not required)
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent experience
