About the Team

The Finance organization has 4 pillars: FP&A, Finance Operations, Controlling and Legal. Within FP&A, we are business partners for the different functional departments, focusing on providing financial support, analysing and reporting business & financial performance, and last but not least, planning and forecasting the impact of business operations.

About the Role

Reporting to the Sr. Director of FP&A, the Sr. Manager Business Partnering FP&A is responsible for managing a team of 4 to 5 business partners that cover the full spectrum of FP&A support to the Typeform business. Ultimately, this role will be the go to person for senior leadership in the business, covering full scope of all BUs & products, on both revenue and spend tracking, and also in supporting them on planning their investments smartly and efficiently and their revenue accordingly. This role will also need to bring forward the company needs/guardrails defined by Corporate FP&A to the business, as well as to provide Corporate FP&A with inputs from business partnering for the consolidated reporting on the forecast & analysis to the Board and to management. As such, this role will have two dotted reporting lines: leaders in the business (CRO, for instance) and Corporate FP&A. This role will be a partner to the business, with great exposure company-wide.

Things you will do:

• Provide guidance to street, to business stakeholders and to budget owners
• Annual budget and 5-year plan
• Monthly forecasts and performance review and analysis, monitoring operations and its revenue impacts and spend.
• Monthly reporting & dashboards of KPIs and performance of the business
• Presentations to relevant stakeholders about the performance of the company/team/business unit.
• Define, implement and monitor key processes in the organization related to Finance (Anaplan)
• Create views and dashboards in Anaplan as the go-to automated reporting framework, and incorporate them into the reporting & analysis framework.

Outcomes

The Sr. Manager FP&A Business Partnering will be measured by:

• Your team’s financial performance as a consequence of your insights/recommendations
• % of outputs from your team delivered with an impact in overall ROI
• % of delivery on financial targets from the business, as should be directly impacted by your advise/guardrails
• Insightfulness and depth of the analysis
• Accurate and timely monthly reporting to business stakeholders and to Corporate FP&A
• Accuracy and feasibility of business plans, budgets, forecasts and any other models
• Proper structure of the deliverables (decks, g-sheets, memorandums, etc.) and proper adjustment to the audiences each deliverable is addressed to
• Proper design and implementation of processes within the business partnering field (within Anaplan and integrations with Anaplan)
• Convert current performance spend and revenue tracking for the business into dashboards in Anaplan, ultimately resulting in an increased usage of the tool.
• Quality and level of automation of deliverables, dashboards and inputs for business partners as well as for Corporate FP&A (reporting).

What you already bring to the table:

• 10 years’ of experience in Finance
• 3 years minimum at a managerial level, with a minimum of 3 direct reports. Used to complex reports and forecasting models and reporting such information to relevant stakeholders.
• 3+ years of experience in FP&A
• Relevant experience with Anaplan, designing and implementing processes and dashboards
• Experience with modeling
• Experience in a SAAS business
• Experience in an international environment
• Experience in a startup or fast paced growing company/environment
• You get excited about going above and beyond
• Exposure to supporting a company going through the IPO phase is a plus
• Big-4 accounting firm experience is a plus
