Job Description

ACCOUNTABILITIES (Describe the primary duties and responsibilities of the job. Include only the essential functions of the job. Approximately 5 – 10 bulleted task statements should be identified).

• Budget management of pipeline related cost for region specific programs
• Budget managment of functional related cost of TDC Asia
• Provide professional support to TDC Asia development programs and functions from finance business partner perspective
• Provie financial analysis for strategic decision making for TDC Asia businesses, or leadship team
• Review monthly accruals for direct and indirect costs
• Suppoting TDC Asia local statutory issues (statutory report, annual auditing etc.)
• Operate finance system at planning process and maintain related master data
• Ensure finance control and compliance related to TDC Asia activities

DIMENSIONS AND ASPECTS

Technical/Functional (Line) Expertise (Breadth and depth of knowledge, application and complexity of technical knowledge)

• At least 3-year experience of Finance business partner role, or budget management
• Experience of mutiple finance functions, Accounting & Reporting or Taxation etc. are preferred
• Knowledge of major finance systems, SAP, Ariba, BI etc.
• Experiences of leading corss functional project, or participant global projects are preferred
• Fluent English communication skill

• Understand a spirit of “Patient First”
• Interested in pharmacutical Industory or drug research & development business
• Show proactive attitude in colloboarate with muti-functional stakeholders

• Manage planning process, such as setting timeline and requirements
• Handle China local issues

• Daily communication with R&D Finances located in China, Singapore, Japan, Boston etc.
• Communicate with mutiple finance functions, TBS, Tax etc.
• Cummunicte with TDC Asia business stakeholders, as well as global stakeholders
• Cummuniate with extenal parties for the issues related with TDC Asia

• Driving results and oppotrunity of improvement
• Drive financial management efficiency

Complexity (Products managed, mix of businesses, internal and/or external business environment, cultural considerations)

• Need to understand parmacutical business
• Need to understand Takeda pipeline
• Need to collaorate with various development functions world wide
• Need to manage matrix structured orgranization between functions, regions and global

Education and Experience

• At lease bacheror of Finance, business management or pharmacology
• MBA is prepferred
• CPA, CMA is preferred
