About the Role

FareHarbor is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Marketing Copywriter to work alongside our Client Engagement and Marketing team. You will be the brand voice owner and ambassador, responsible for ideating, creating, and editing marketing and educational content designed to keep FareHarbor clients up to date on the latest tools, features and resources from FareHarbor.

Beyond professional writing skills, you should be a natural collaborator and conceptual thinker, focused on creative problem-solving and the rewards of delivering a thoughtful finished product. A collaborative, flexible person who is comfortable in a leadership and mentor role who thrives working in a fast-paced environment will be most successful in this role.

Types of content you will work on include:

  • Blogs for that both demonstrate thought-leadership and strengthen the relationship between operators and FareHarbor.
  • Email marketing content including nurture campaigns, newsletters and more.
  • Educational articles for FareHarbor Compass, our hub of business-boosting resources.
  • Website copy, including landing pages.
  • Community-focused content designed to share client stories.
  • Webinar and presentation content.
  • Social media copy.
  • Other ad hoc copy and brand voice assignments as needed including but not limited to research reports and internal communications.

What you’ll do here:

  • Own and optimize FareHarbor’s brand voice, including establishing consistent and repeatable content creation and publication processes that drive productivity and quality.
  • Help define content marketing strategy and maximize content utility across channels.
  • Shepherd creative content ideas throughout the full content development lifecycle.
  • Copy edit and provide quality control for all written content to ensure materials meet key communication objectives, support digital marketing best practices, and adhere to FareHarbor’s brand guidelines.
  • Support the Company and team objectives by intimately understanding FareHarbor clients’ lifecycle, opportunities, and needs.
  • By relying on your own professional experience and by staying up to date on copy and digital trends, you will mentor other Marketing Copywriters to ensure consistency and high quality across marketing materials.

Requirements - Skills

  • BA/BS in Marketing, Creative Writing, Journalism, or related field.
  • 4-6 years of relevant work experience in B2B/SaaS content marketing/copywriting with increasing responsibility, ideally in an Agency or Brand Marketing team.
  • Proven ability to ideate, write and edit both long and short form copy that aligns with the FareHarbor brand voice, with marketing outcomes and goals at the forefront.
  • Experience providing feedback to other copywriters and developing a copywriting cohort.
  • **REQUIRED: Online portfolio of professionally produced work that demonstrates your writing abilities. Digital professional writing samples acceptable.**

  • Detail oriented, passionate about writing, and committed to delivering exceptional marketing deliverables.

Salary Range: $55,440-$69,300, plus 10% bonus potential
