About the Team Fanatics Collectibles is a new company working at the intersection of collectibles and technology. Backed by some of the best investors, sports properties and operators in the world, we are integrating with Fanatics’ global digital sports platform – which includes 900 sports relationships and more than 81 million reachable fans - to reimagine the collectibles business for the 21st century. Reporting to the Director FP&A, the Senior Financial Analyst FP&A will serve as a crucial member of the FP&A team for Fanatics Collectibles. This role will be important to building Collectibles’ finance operations, processes and best practices as we build Collectibles’ monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting. The SFA will play a critical role in creating analysis and building models that will define the future of the Fanatics Collectibles business. The role will partner across multiple teams within Collectibles and the Fanatics organization. We are looking for an exceptional analytical thinker, who will help build cases for new strategies and investments and help perform analysis on existing businesses. This person must have sound financial management and judgement. The successful candidate must have the ability to understand high level strategy and translate that strategy into models. Individuals with a demonstrated passion for sports, culture & entertainment will likely find themselves a strong cultural fit.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the forecasting process and own portions of the financial forecast models, including P&L, cash flow, and supporting schedules/analyses. Ensure their quality, timeliness, and accuracy
- Support month-end close process and analyze actual performance vs. plan, prior year, and current forecast
- Build and maintain financial models to support forecast analysis
- Develop, maintain and update KPI dashboards for review with senior management
- Assist with the preparation of Senior Management presentations/meetings
- Perform ad-hoc analyses on all aspects of the Collectibles businesses
- Support the creation of the annual and multi-year strategic and financial plans
- Identify and develop process efficiencies and automation to create standardized, efficient and repeatable processes
Qualifications & Experience:
- 2-4 years of experience in budgeting, forecasting, and planning for an operational unit or in a corporate finance setting is required
- Experience working within MS Excel; including advanced functions used for building complex models, VBA skills a plus but not required
- Strong PowerPoint skills
- Ability to work with and analyze large amounts of data
- Experience consolidating financial information across businesses is a plus
- Experience with ERP systems and BI tools is a plus
- Bachelor's degree (BS/BBA or equivalent) in Finance, Accounting, Engineering or related field
