Associate Director, Audit Pursuit Center

Job Description

KPMG is currently seeking an Associate Director, Audit Pursuits to join our Business Support Services organization.

Responsibilities:

• Provide strategy support to partners, senior staff and other pursuit team members across the audit pursuit process related to audit technical aspects of the pursuit including Scoping, independence, fees, Innovation and risk management (Global & Domestic)
• Lead in designing the process, interaction and coordination of the pursuit team with the various groups of marketing, international firms, independence, National Audit Solutions (NAS), Risk, Division of Professional Practice (DPP) and Industry
• Assist Pursuit Teams in executing the pursuit sales methodology including market edge, value proposition, competitor analysis and sales strategy
• Facilitate and coach team discussions with DPP as needed related to scoping and audit approach
• Provide strategic consultation to Pursuit Teams on the development of the audit plan including scoping and fees

Qualifications:

• Minimum seven years of experience in delivering audit service essential in a professional services firm
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
• Ability to develop working relationships with the most senior people across the firm including partners and practice group leaders
• Pursuit experience is desirable
• Deep understanding of the pursuit process and the ability to leverage relevant prior learnings and experience
• Ability to present complex and difficult messages skillfully and be able to produce writing that uses clear, precise and persuasive language
