ELC Travel Retail Americas is seeking a Corporate Account Manager to join the team. The Area Sales and Operations Manager will support the Regional Brand Director and be a key contributor to the retail business plan. #ELCTravelRetail
Business Activities
- Planning and achievement of Retail sales strategy, plans and targets for the Area/Retailer plus long range (three-year) planning for the region
- Present to retailers’ promotional calendar, new products launches and marketing activities to include monthly retailer sales projection
- Regular visits to major clients to ensure standards and objectives are achieved as well as to assess and execute key opportunities to further maximize sales and profitability
- Review, report and negotiate all space and location opportunities
- Accountability of the overall brand appearance and exposure in the region, collaborating with the Sales and Education Executive and Visual Merchandising team
- Successful planning and execution of retail activations at store level
- Successful execution of brand launch calendar, promotions and digital activations
- Provide feedback on assortment per door to the CAM. Makes suggestions to rationalize, if needed
- Manage refurbishment - submit PRF to necessary department
- Review preliminary designs and share feedback with Store Design
Relationships
- Collaborate with the Corporate Account Manager and Marketing team on opportunities within the client’s location and support agreed initiatives with the retail partner
- Close coordination with Corporate Account Manager and Education partners on needs, execution and results of the responsibilities
- Recruitment, management and development of Sales and Education Executive, succession planning, training and demo productivity review
Analytics, Reporting
- Awareness of trade and market developments
- Monitor competitor activity and report information on brand, category and department performance on a regular basis to the Regional Brand Director and Corporate Account Manager
- Profit and loss input
- Provide retail sales reports and ad-hoc analysis regularly
- Proper utilization of Corporate technology & apps, such as On the Move, Office 360
Qualifications Skills & Performance
- Knowledge of proficient business/commercial/financial acumen
- Solid understanding and experience in retail sales management and commercial acumen to drive sales at retail
- Experience across multiple countries (ideally within the Americas)
- Experienced with Travel Retail, and/or perfume and cosmetics (desirable)
- Track record in the achievement of multi-site retail sales targets
- Good knowledge of MS Office tools, especially Excel
- Track record of establishing and maintaining productive B2B relationships
- Leadership through multi-brand and direct or indirect team management (desirable)
