With 98% of the market still stuck on old stacks, we’re scaling to meet the demand and answer the very question everyone is asking: “Where is my Kantata?”About the roleAs a Product Manager at Kantata, you’ll be the subject matter expert in the Salesforce Platform and Kantata SX application and be responsible for the continuous optimization of our use of the Salesforce platform and latest technology. The product management team is responsible for turning business needs into outcomes and is the driving force behind the Kantata SX product lifecycle from feature inception to launch and adoption. Kantata SX is a SaaS product built using Salesforce technology and delivered on the Force.com platform. Kantata SX and Kantata OX are both leading products in the Professional Services management space - each with unique strengths - and since merging companies in 2021, both products are now united with the same purpose: to lead our product category by delivering products that simplify services management while focusing on delivering outcomes. Kantata SX is uniquely positioned to serve enterprise customers who are using Salesforce at a foundational level within their operations stack. About the opportunityThe Force.com platform is core to our technical strategy and as an enterprise vendor, we continually invest in platform optimization working with partners like Salesforce and others to ensure unparalleled scale and performance for our customers.

As a Platform Product Manager focused on developing and optimizing our continuous compatibility with the Force.com platform, you’ll be the expert in understanding the unique needs and challenges of running enterprise ISV applications on this leading B2B platform. You’ll leverage that expertise to help define the technical product strategy and roadmap. This hands-on role involves working to shape a backlog of stories, conceptualizing, prioritizing, and planning work in collaboration with the engineering team to deliver new and improved capabilities.

Kantata is a deep and broad application, specific areas of platform capability you will be responsible for include:

• Backups and Archiving
• Security and Permissions
• Performance optimisation
• Job Administration and Management
• Kantata monitoring tooling,including: Adoption / usage data and trends

Goals and ResponsibilitiesBeing the subject matter expert, you will own and develop our technical roadmap and work with our engineering team to drive and prioritize investment in platform technology and change. You’ll provide expertise in the form of guidance and training, plus enablement, to internal teams as well as customers. You’ll help to create compelling messaging and content and enable internal and external teams around the outcomes we deliver and problems we solve. Success in this role will stem from:

• Deep industry and market research to uncover and define strategic opportunities
• A passion for technical enablement and software optimization and a proven track record of SaaS application optimization
• Executing data-driven decisions to build and guide product roadmaps with definitive business outcomes
• Engagement with clients to understand needs of buyers and users and then balancing and prioritizing those demands within the growing Kantata SX product roadmap
• Coordination with our Go-to-market teams across sales, alliances, client success, and marketing to successfully launch products, increase adoption, and map product iterations
• Demonstrating thought leadership in product areas through a variety of internal and external activities while also analyzing and monitoring insights, impact, and identifying and implementing learning opportunities

Building world class ISV apps on the Salesforce platform is a goal we share with - is a complicated endeavor but you’re excited about building the best solution to solve problems at an enterprise level. You understand the platform and Force.com ecosystem and can fluently converse with executives and users to gather and analyze data and requirements to articulate them in terms of business needs and outcomes. Our newest product manager will bring with them:

• 3+ years of SaaS product management experience
• 3+ years of Salesforce platform experience
• Professional Services domain expertise and industry knowledge
• Effective decision-making and prioritization abilities within an agile product delivery environment
• Clear communication across functional and technical design conversation, documentation, and presentations to collaborate effectively with engineering and stakeholders
• Creative thinking in solving business challenges with innovative and flexible solutions
