Vocurio is an advertising-technology marketplace - it aligns publishers with highly engaged users with advertisers looking to acquire customers. Vocurio is a startup in its MVP (or pre-launch) phase, so this is a great opportunity to join the founding team at the ground level!

The Account Manager will be responsible for proactively cultivating and managing strategic partnerships with both publishers and advertisers during our MVP process, and then scaling the partnerships team as we build into our future state, market leading platform. The AM will ensure the success and growth of Vocurio through excellent communication, empowered relationship management, strategic planning, and data-backed campaign optimization - all of this directly impacting the development of this venture to its full potential. Additionally, during the MVP phase our Account Manager will provide human effort for future automated tasks, helping to define our customer-facing and backend product development.

The Account Manager will:
  • Manage relationships with both publishers and advertisers for the MVP
  • Assist with the manual tasks required for the MVP including partner onboarding
  • Collaborate internally on areas of potential scale to identify emerging partner needs and growth opportunities
  • Build trust everywhere you go – become a trusted advisor to key internal and external decision makers
  • Liaise between partners and internal teams to manage timelines, goals, and budgets. Prioritize internal goals while also meeting partner expectations.
  • Identify and create opportunities and solutions with our strategic partners.

Ideal Attributes:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 1-2 years of Account Management, Ad Operations, Affiliate and/or Performance Marketing experience
  • Experience with online advertising / marketing growth metrics, analytics, or finance, preferably in a startup environment
  • A self-starter mentality, with a willingness to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Proven ability to communicate complex technical information to stakeholders with varying technical experience
  • Proven ability to manage and prioritize tasks across disciplines; pivoting to maintain alignment with business goals
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and extremely adaptive environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and strong verbal and written communicator
