Key Account Manager Oncology

OBJECTIVES

We are looking for a strong candidate for the position Key Account Manager (Oncology) - responsible for achieving sales targets and implementing sales strategies in order to attain sales volume, customer growth, patient growth and customer satisfaction for the assigned therapies and / or medical products within own geographical area – 1/3 Poland (śląskie, dolnosląskie, podkarpackie, małopolskie).

Responsibilities

• Achieve revenue, sales, profit & qualitative objectives and targets for the assigned therapies

• Manage day-to-day relationships with assigned customers & plan visits with them

• Build and develop professional long-term customer relationships

• Prepare, implement and review targeted account plans aligned with the commercial policies defined by Takeda

• Plan and prepare for each customer visits and record outcomes (MCE)

• Propose and provide each customer with appropriate solutions that will maximize opportunities both for the customer and for Takeda

• Communicate all relevant information to existing and potential customers to guarantee their awareness of Takeda product portfolio and its benefits (MCE)

• Acquire new customers

• Capture and maintain all relevant sales and customer data

• Gather and share with other KAMs and with line management all possible information on market intelligence and competitor activities to help anticipate competitive moves

• Maintain presence in all existing & target customers

• Deal with customer complaints & implement corrective actions

• Continuously assess the market for new customers / opportunities / risks for Takeda products

• Finalize budgets and forecasts in cooperation with line management / Marketing

• Present Takeda products & their advantages, organize & distribute all needed promotional material and organize test usage where needed

• Participate in congresses and other customer events (MCE)

• Provide customer training and support / assistance where needed (MCE)

• Cross functional collaboration with other departments

• Focus on patients understanding of needs and put patients at the center of everything we do

Education & Experience Requirements

Minimum:

• University degree in Medicine/Biology/Chemistry/Pharmacy or equivalent

• At least 5 years of sales experience in specialized prescription pharmaceutical business and hospital sector

Desirable:

• Experienced in Key Account and Hospital Management

• Commercial and marketing experience in pre-launch and launch activities with particular emphasis on hospital selling

• Intimate knowledge of the polish pharmaceutical industry’s code of conduct and compliance regulations

• Existing contacts with specialists in relevant specialties treating rare diseases • IT skills (MS Office literacy minimum)

• The candidate has to be organized and able to manage project in result-oriented manner.

• He/she should also be able to work on his own without daily guidance/support from superior to achieve our goals.

• A high degree of flexibility in a rapidly developing market and organization. Proactive pioneering attitude in developing new markets.

• Positive attitude, enthusiastic approach.

• Analytical and challenging mind.

• Commercial acumen.

• Strong presentation, sales call and negotiation skills.

• Self-starter mentally.

• High performing sales professional, able to be a role model for the subsequently starting Product Specialists in performance, attitude, creativity. Likely to influence team members through their work, and thus able to train colleagues with necessary, or lead of peers in projects and other work.

• Good knowledge in Microsoft office products and communication technology. • Fluent in speaking and writing English.

Complexity and Problem Solving:

• The person must decide on his own travel/visit plans in the territory and where to set priorities in customer support to achieve our goals.

• Close interaction with cross functions

Internal and External Contacts

Internal:

• Reports to Sales and Marketing Lead Hema/Onco Poland

• Regular contacts and exchange with colleagues in marketing and sales, PVA, Medical Affairs, Finance, HR, occasional interaction with international BU

• Interaction with national and international peers

External:

• Key Opinion Leads, hospital physicians and hospital staff at secondary care level

• Hospital healthcare professionals and hospital management e.g. Finance/Procurement
