About You
The Analyst, Decision Sciences will be tasked with partnering with the Decision Sciences Managers and internal + client stakeholders and will support and contribute to measurement, reporting, performance, insights and optimization deliverables. The ideal candidate will be able to identify the “why” or “so what” from a myriad of different data sources and will be able to act as subject matter expert and be a partner to both our internal teams as well as our day-to-day clients and their extended teams.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Work closely with the Decision Sciences Managers and internal teams to assess the campaign’s technical measurement and data requirements (e.g., campaign tagging, Web analytics coding)
- Build measurement plans against learning and business objectives, with minimal direction.
- Help monitor and analyze performance through campaign dashboards and readouts - determine the data requirements, extract and manipulate the data and develop a coherent story with clear, easy-to-follow conclusions with actionable recommendations in a concise, organized fashion.
- Use multi-touch attribution/ attribution solutions to understand interactions, roles and conversion contributions between marketing channels
- Integrate reporting across channels for large programs; and lead internal measurement discussions and develops relevant QA practices.
- Support and provide input on design, execution, and interpretation of test results. Identify needs for analysis and guide team members on techniques and interpretation.
You’ll need to have:
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required; ideal candidate will have 6 -12 months of experience with marketing analytics
- Relevant course work or internship experience (Big data/Data Analysis; paid media is a nice to have)
- Proven analysis projects that involve data manipulation and interpretation
- Strong ability and desire to think analytically with strong problem solving technical analytical skills
- Exposure to R or Python
- Comfortability with learning new systems and tools
- Comfortability with large data sets and a thorough understanding of data cleaning and manipulation, QA'ing large data to ensure validity
- Eagerness to learn and flexibility to pivot from task to task
- Reasonable understanding of the online measurement ecosystem and performance metrics
- The ability and strong desire to think analytically with strong problem solving, technical analytic and communication skills
- Intermediate level experience with ad serving tools (DFA/DCM, etc...), Paid Search Platforms (Ads, Bing, etc...), Web analytics tools (Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics) and Attribution Solutions (Convertro, Neisen Visual IQ, Adometry)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks to completion within established deadlines
- Requires excellent organizational, written, and communication skills
- Highly proficient in Google suite, Excel and Tableau
