Description:Aircraft Sustainment Operations Associate Manager- Greenville SC
Manage depot/hangar swing shift activities as assigned in the Lockheed Martin Sustainment Operations organization at Greenville, South Carolina. Responsible for safety, quality, cost and schedule in the execution of maintenance, modification and repair of Lockheed Martin built aircraft.
- Manage depot/hangar swing shift line activities.
- Manage overhead labor and material budgets.
- Report key performance indicators to leadership.
- Achieve company mission success milestones.
- Deliver performance assessments, salary administration, and maintain positive employee relations.
- Responsible for the maintenance and compliance of ground and flight operating procedures.
- Requires frequent communications with internal customers, and US military customer representatives.
- Possess leadership skills and behaviors that align with the Full Spectrum Leadership imperatives of Shape the Future, Build Effective Relationships, Energize the Team, Deliver Results and Model Personal Excellence, Integrity and Accountability.
- Manage staffing requirements for assigned programs.
- Lead Sustainment Management System & operational process analysis and improvement.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in related field & 4 years experience in aircraft maintenance or modification; or 8+ years experience in aircraft maintenance and modification in absence of Bachelors Degree
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must have a minimum of six years demonstrated leadership experience.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with aircraft hangar & depot level maintenance management.
- Experience with F-16 and C-130 (desired) aircraft maintenance and modification programs.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience and compliance with the requirements for DCMA Instruction 8210.1.
- Demonstrated experience building and leading highly effective teams to meet or exceed quality, cost, schedule and technical objectives.
- Demonstrated skills in change management and delegation.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, propose, and manage organizational budgets and schedules using EVM methodologies.
- Demonstrated experience with root cause, corrective action and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Ability to design and use metrics to critically assess organization, measure performance, and take corrective action.
- Demonstrated effective problem and conflict resolution skills.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively interface with customers (internal and external), demonstrating sound situational reasoning and judgment.
