The Role

We’re looking for a highly organized, creative, and detail-oriented person to manage our field marketing activities. In this role, you will play a foundational role in the development and execution of Simon’s field marketing strategy, which includes virtual events,, in-person trade shows and summits, parties, happy hours, experiences and other field marketing activities.

You will also oversee the day-to-day management of our events, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that we are efficient in how we execute, and most importantly that events are generating value.

What You’ll Do

  • Tightly manage all in-person event logistics - including pre-event planning, booth build, shipping to and from the event, on-site team communication and coordination, post-event wrap up and more.
  • Drive post-event follow up activities and ensure sales team members are equipped with clear next steps.
  • Communicate and update stakeholders at various levels of the organization on event plans, timelines, deliverables and expectations, program performance and results.
  • Use Salesforce.com , Google Sheets, Slides and Hubspot to manage event campaigns, run basic reports and track program success.
  • Work closely with Partnerships, Client Solutions , Sales and Operations to execute on events.
  • Understand, set and measure KPIs, metrics, and ROI for all activities and report results in a comprehensive but succinct manner.
  • Be a strong contributor to the Simon Marketing team. You should have a point-of-view on optimal practices for event management, streamlining processes and delivering amazing experiences to our prospective customers and partners.
  • Venue research, negotiation and booking.
  • Manage our swag inventory including research, purchase, and sending to clients and prospects when requested.
  • Budget tracking and reporting.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years experience in event planning and execution
  • Highly organized with strong project management abilities
  • Skilled at working cross functionally, managing multiple projects and competing deadlines.
  • Able to travel up to 25% of the time
