Sales Development Representative (SDR) Manager

Job Description

Teaching kids to think critically and communicate effectively has never been more important, and NoRedInk helps students become better writers in more than 60% of middle and high schools in the U.S. We're looking for an inspiring, motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) Manager to lead a team of SDR’s, responsible for the crucial role of breaking into new accounts and fostering relationships with multiple contacts within all levels of our target customer segments. This role will help optimize our inbound lead processes as well as help build out our outbound strategy working closely with other sales managers and interacting cross-functionally to report on lead pipeline status.

In this role, you will:

• Be responsible for the team meeting or exceeding quarterly and annual targets
• Recruit, onboard and train entry level SDR’s
• Utilize tech like Salesforce, Outreach and Gong to track activities and productivity, ensuring data integrity and allowing our team to work collaboratively
• Coach, manage and build a high-performing team through mentorship and guidance
• Foster SDR team by coaching and training prospecting, holding discovery calls, and strategically engaging customers
• Work closely with the Marketing and Sales leaders to help build and iterate out outbound strategy
• Have a tenacious work ethic, and the scrappiness necessary to succeed at a small company
• Develop mastery of the NoRedInk solution and the competitive landscape
• Exemplify NoRedInk's mission and values

About You:

• 1+ years of inside sales management experience
• 4+ years of direct SDR and/or quota-carrying sales experience
• A proven track record of over performance
• Experience using Salesforce and sales engagement solutions like Outreach to optimize sales performance
• A head for numbers – you are comfortable diving into the metrics and identifying insights to improve the individual, team and overall revenue contribution
• Strong communication and written skills
• Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize
• You thrive in fast-paced, start-up environments
• K12 education or education technology experience a plus but not required
