The team
Our Marketing team creates world-class content and data-driven marketing solutions that communicate the value of DocuSign’s Agreement Cloud to reach more customers and help them understand the potential impact DocuSign can have on their business. We design creative for a new business campaign. Build worldwide digital experiences that touch millions. Refine messaging around new product launches. Organize captivating customer events. Develop innovative social media campaigns. Collaborate on playbooks and training with the Sales team. Marketing is the face and voice of DocuSign and plays a key, high-impact role in how we tell our story.
This positionAs the Senior Director, Enterprise Marketing - North America you are responsible for strategic planning, development, and implementation of a marketing plan to acquire, nurture, and grow our relationship with the largest businesses in North America (US and Canada). This professional will partner with sales leaders, marketing leaders and account teams to meet growth objectives and accelerate pipeline, product adoption, and expansion. The ideal candidate has experience managing, planning and executing 1:1 and 1:few Enterprise Marketing programs, understands how to engage C-level personas and drive strategic engagements with customers. They are creative, analytical, and have excellent communication and project management skills.

This position is a people manager role reporting to the VP of Marketing - North America and is designated Flex.

Responsibilities

  • Be a thought leader for advancing our knowledge, discipline and long-term roadmap for delivering world-class Enterprise marketing programs
  • Plan, manage, measure and optimize Enterprise marketing programs (1:1 and 1:few) to land new customers, expand into new departments, increase product usage, and grow revenue from enterprise accounts
  • Recruit, hire and develop a high-functioning marketing team
  • Participate actively in strategic planning with senior sales leaders to understand goals and program requirements, and translate into marketing strategies that drive impact
  • Work with Marketing Operations, Marketing Analytics, Growth Marketing, and other Country teams to help drive the change management process (e.g., marketing and account based marketing (ABM) dashboards) to move from a Marketing Qualified Lead model to a Marketing Qualified Account model
  • Analyze pipeline trends and program performance to identify areas of strength and opportunity
  • Work cross functionally to define, scope and resource a plan that delivers results
  • Collaborate cross-functionally across marketing teams to identify the most effective messages, materials, channels and calls to action for personas within target accounts
  • Own campaign performance for strategic accounts by measuring, analyzing, and reporting on the impact of campaign activities on influenced pipeline, database growth, deal cycle acceleration, and other KPIs
  • Recommend optimization strategies to improve outcomes
  • Guide the team to identify new ABM trends, share ABM best practices across the marketing organization, and contribute to the long-term strategy of DocuSign’s ABM practice
  • Manage project timelines, quality, resources and budget

Basic qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience in demand, field marketing, or customer engagement programs for enterprise technology companies with a track record of successful results
  • Minimum of 8 years of marketing for large enterprise accounts
  • Enterprise software and/or SaaS expertise with familiarity of the technology sales cycle and how to employ marketing communication strategies to nurture and engage throughout the buyer’s journey
  • Experience working closely with leadership teams and sales executives to develop marketing processes, strategies, and content requirements
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to track and report on ABM performance metrics, effectively interpret data to evaluate pipeline needs; provide data-driven recommendations to support ABM objectives
  • Experience with modern ABM martech stack, Marketo/Eloqua, and Salesforce

Preferred qualifications

  • Excellent project management skills
  • Experience working with industry-specific campaigns
  • Experience working with and leveraging strategic partners, specifically SIs
  • Experience developing/supporting Executive Engagement programs

Based on Colorado law, the following details are for Colorado individuals only: Colorado base salary range: $165,600 - $233,850 and eligible for bonus, equity and benefits at https://www.docusign.com/company/benefits.
