Job Description

Position Overview

Support Capital Consulting Services for customers. Projects will be located in the Americas Zone. The consultant will work remotely and/or at customer site locations, reporting to the Americas Zone Team Lead. The consultant will complete project activities as defined in contractual documentation (e.g. SOW, WBS) and may be utilized as a Subject Matter Expert to help identify requirements and generate technical input to contracts and scoping.

Responsibilities

• Configure the Capital tools within customer environments/flows (project/system templates, style sets, DRCs, etc.)
• Work within Capital Library to define and update parts
• Work within all applicable domains/tools of the Capital tool suite; emphasis on Design domain, especially Capital Logic and HarnessXC
• Guide customer through deployment activities, including troubleshooting.
• Generate documentation for deployment activities, especially best practices for customer
• Generate Capital out-of-the-box reports (Required) / Develop custom reports and plugins using Java (Preferred)
• Travel to customer locations to support project activities on an as-needed basis.
• Interact with customers in a professional manner, mentoring customers, obtain/uncover requirements, report on results, achieve objectives and manage their own workload with minimal supervision
• Create solutions able to interface with existing integrations (and/or develop new customized integrations) with industry standard PDM and MCAD solutions (e.g. TeamCenter, Enovia / NX, CATIA)
• Identify new business opportunities or gaps at existing customers

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Technology or equivalent experience.
• Experience working in automotive, aerospace, marine or defense sector, and engineering tools within that sector
• Travel percent is expected to be 25% or less.
• Remote or hybrid work arrangements are available depending on candidate's location

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

• Knowledge configuring the Capital tools
• Knowledge of delivery frameworks and methodologies for a Professional Services organization. Experience in leading team members throughout the phases of software implementation projects including definition, installation, configuration, testing, deployment and post-production support.
• Familiarity with Capital out-of-the-box reports
• Experience with Software Development Lifecycles (SDLC) tools, best practices, and standards.
