As a Facility Operations Associate Manager (Level 4) you will manage company facilities and infrastructure, real property, and plant machinery and equipment in a large scale production campus. In this role, you will provide technical direction, leadership, oversight of budget administration, planning and scheduling activities, workflow analysis, and recommendation of capital acquisition or modifications.
Monitor and manage various aspects of the site:
• Energy management and utility generation operations
• Building and grounds management
• Repair and rearrangement requirements from project initiation to completion.
Manage allocation of department resources to ensure priority projects are implemented in a timely manner.
• Assure prompt resolution of scheduling conflicts
• Ensure job and cost performance and adherence to design and build requirements.
• Solution equipment and maintenance repairs, problems or concerns
• Apply appropriate policy and procedures
• Monitor job performance, safety, and environmental concern
Responsible for coordinating subordinate (represented and salaried) employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.
• Provides technical guidance and direction as needed.

This position is in Palmdale, CA  Discover Palmdale.
Basic Qualifications:
• Prior experience directing and managing employees
• Experience managing, operating, servicing, and maintaining commercial facility infrastructure and/or industrial machinery and equipment
• Experience with utility generation and Central Utility Plant operations
• Experience with industrial electrical systems in a campus or factory setting
• Experience with building automation systems and software
• Experience with MS Office Suite
Desired Skills:
• Experience leading in a union environment
• Familiarity with administration of maintenance and repair operations
• Experience utilizing MAXIMO or other CMMS platforms
• Excellent communicator (technical, written, verbal)
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience and specialized training
