About the role

We are growing across the entire Design team and need experienced Design Researchers to help drive FareHarbor into the future. As a Senior Experience Design Researcher at FareHarbor you will be executing a broad variety of experience design research to identify human behaviour, needs, and wants to inform the digital experience direction for FareHarbor’s customers around the world.

You will conduct all aspects of Experience Design Research, from research design and methodology selection to crafting findings that guide and inform Product Owners, Product Managers and Product Designers within your team.

What you'll do here:

• Choose from and apply a wide variety of design and UX research methodologies to arrive at actionable insights
• Craft detailed research findings into simple, easy to understand insights presentations to drive business
• Lead human-centered design research workshops and other co-creative methods
• Contribute to building and initiating experience design research approaches from scratch
• Drive collaboration and partnership with a variety of teams across FareHarbor to bring consumer insights, qualitative and quantitative research together into actionable insights
• Understand and incorporate complex technical and business requirements into research
• Advocate research findings to diverse audiences through written reports and in-person presentations, with visibility and impact across the company.

Requirements:

• At least 4+ years of relevant experience in digital products, specifically in SaaS companies.
• Have experience in working with multi-disciplinary teams in iterative product development cycles.
• Have a great understanding and showcase of product thinking, storytelling, and design craft.
• Effective communication when articulating your vision, strategy, and decisions of your insights.
• Strategic and purposeful in making product decisions, accomplished by integrating user, business and technical considerations into your design process. You can identify when to optimize for speed and when to seek for quality and hone into the details.
• Self-motivated and autonomous. Successfully prioritize and execute on projects with quality outcomes.
