Manages and trains designated Merchandise Operations team (Apparel or Jerseys). Maintains product item creation calendar dates, which outlines all key tasks through the product line development process, for FB item configuration. Coordinates and balances priorities within designated product team to meet calendar timelines. Manage operational aspects of product creation in PLM application through ERP system and beyond to include structure, attribution, and data integrity.
Responsibilities
- Manage operational aspects of product creation within Fanatics systems (PLM application through ERP system) and beyond to include structure, attribution, function, process and integrity.
- Acts as the subject matter expert, training resource and day to day operational leader for the Merchandise Operations team, troubleshooting item coding issues.
- Creates and maintains library for training documents and training support.
- Leads and conducts internal system/process audits, which may include available inventory, month end, sku counts, monthly data audits.
- Reporting - Collect, analyze product data for accuracy and life.
Requirements
- Bachelors or Associates degree in Supply Chain or Merchandising Operations related field, or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience that equals 4-6+ years of experience in apparel manufacturing, Licensing or Sports related experience
- 2-5 years of experience in the supply chain discipline with strong junior leadership skills
- Accurately estimate completion of deliverables and a passion for simplified design.
- Advanced skill level in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, data warehouses and database management
- Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize workload, adapt to change, and maintain composure under pressure.
- Ability to work in a fast pace and dynamic environment
- Proven manager of people, timelines, and process with ability to identify, acquire, and grow talent as well as motivate, mentor, and develop high performing teams
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills – visual, written, and verbal
- Ability to network, gain trust with co-workers, open to new ideas, work with multiple personalities and competing agendas, and can deliver a decision in a professional manner
- Project management and problem solving - identify and resolve problems in a creative, collaborative, and timely manner with a view of the big picture and making difficult decisions
- Well versed with PLM-PDM processes and concepts a plus.
- Production, test, training system experience
- High level of leadership & management skills including strategic thinking, communication, problem solving, negotiation, people development, and process management.
- Sports fan a plus
