About the Riot XP Product Team
The XP team focuses on creating holistic Riot experiences across our entire portfolio starting with gaming but also in film entertainment, sport and music. We partner deeply with Riot’s leaders to identify Riot’s major priorities and opportunities for key moments to delight players. We craft strategy and align around a unified vision of tomorrow’s intended player experience. Role Summary
In this role, you will focus on developing the vision and strategy of a major player experience of tomorrow in partnership with Riot’s leaders. In these experiences, referred to as major programs, you will be accountable for leading a team of Rioters from all over the company and all over the world to create large-scale, deeply impactful moments that drive powerful outcomes for players and the gaming landscape.
You are a communicator and collaborator, able to crystallize XP’s vision for other Riot product teams, external partners, marketing teams, and others. You show what’s possible when Riot products align. Aside from your personal technical skillset, you share a skillset with the rest of the organization, which is to enhance and co-create with other key leaders who bring diverse perspectives.
This role’s daily function is to be mission oriented and a capable leader, able to hold a vision and build confidence with your teams and stakeholders. Your teams will come from within XP but also be created from the various pillars of Riot Games; in spite of their origin you are able to give them shared purpose, identity and forward momentum.
The Riot Experience Program Lead is also able to implement major Riot initiatives into your own strategy, taking into account business priorities and intended outcomes and finding the means to accomplish them through your work. In your work’s results you are able to observe the outcomes defined in your strategy. From there, you work collaboratively with leaders to learn from mistakes and develop takeaways that Riot can learn from.
