Crunchbase has a remote-first approach, and is open to hiring in these locations: Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Chicago, Denver, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, Minneapolis, New York, Philadelphia, Portland, Raleigh, San Francisco, and Seattle Product at Crunchbase We’re searching for a Sr. Group Product Manager to lead our Data Group in developing and enhancing the data set and data capabilities that power all Crunchbase products. This role will lead our team of world-class product managers who not only enjoy helping our users, but also enjoy having fun, making each other laugh, and helping one another grow to become the best they can be! You'll drive the vision, strategy, and roadmap for data across all products. The Crunchbase dataset includes hundreds of data points for companies, organizations, people, and more. You'll be responsible for deciding what data features should be added, maintained, or removed to ensure our users are getting the most out of our product and solving their most pressing needs.

What You'll Do:

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of product managers distributed across the United States to build products that create material value for our millions of users.
• Work hand-in-hand with our Head of Product, executives, and product managers to create a product roadmap inspired by our company mission of democratizing access to opportunity and grounded in real feedback from our users.
• Expand and enrich the dataset by supervising projects that help acquire and integrate data from various sources both internal and external
• Partner closely with peers across User Research, Analytics, Product Design, Engineering, and Product Marketing to build and launch features in an agile and iterative way.
• Advocate for the Crunchbase data vision and strategy, and get alignment with executives and other scrum teams.
• Create processes and develop systems for distilling the concerns of stakeholders in product, marketing, sales and engineering into a compelling path forward.

What We're Looking For:

• 5+ years of experience in product management roles, including experience delivering data-powered products, platforms, or services
• 2+ years of leading a team of product managers.
• Experience working with data science teams before to build and ship personalization, recommendation, or other ML-based products
• Previous experience working cross-functionally to bring multiple data products / partnerships to market, from inception to launch
• A good understanding of APIs, data pipelines, ETL architectures, and data warehouses, such as Snowflake.
• Strong road-mapping, sprint-planning, and project-management skills
• Ability to present and share ideas while collaborating cross-functionally
• You can independently develop and implement recommended approaches to sophisticated / ambiguous problems while making thoughtful trade-offs
• Strong data and analysis skills, plus knowledge in SQL and modern analytics and visualization platforms (Heap, Periscope, etc.)
• A strategic problem solver who can deal with complexity and conflicting priorities, you have the ability to identify growth opportunities for your product, can turn ideas into a roadmap, and ultimately execute on it.
• You've been successful working in a fast-paced startup environment.
