At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time, others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely.

This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or offsites.

This position is not eligible to be performed in Alaska, Mississippi, North Dakota, or the Virgin Islands.

We are excited about winning and servicing our 20M+ businesses with our Commerce suite of products to help small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) sell more and increase profits. The Commerce suite includes products to sell online (Woo Commerce Store, Online Store), on Marketplaces, via Social, in-person at their brick-and-mortar store, over the phone and more. You will be a key driving force to help us sell commerce offerings to our SMBs by building predictable and scalable lead gen and sales processes.

As a Principal Product Manager on the GoDaddy Commerce team, you will lead the product strategy to enable GoDaddy sales team to identify and lead deals, identify optimization opportunities to building predictable and scalable sales funnel processes. You will define the end-to-end tracking, management, and experience for GoDaddy Commerce power sellers as they interface various teams at GoDaddy. You will work with multiple sales teams, understand the business processes, and drive product and process changes to optimize those.

You’ll have the opportunity to build and scale the platform and drive industry leading experiences. You will drive critical metrics that directly affect the top line and bottom line for GoDaddy Payments.

What you'll get to do...

  • Develop a deep understanding of the GoDaddy’s power seller base and determine the best way to recommend the optimal commerce solution across various surfaces like Front of Site and in product experience.
  • Partner with Customer Service Technology team to gather required tooling in order to drive rapid growth and scale.
  • Partner with Sales, Risk, Activation and Customer Success team to design workflows that streamline signing deals and making our SMBs successful.
  • Learn from data and customer feedback (internal and external) to identify new opportunities to improve the platform and the end user experience.
  • Evaluate vendor services as well as make build vs. use decisions for your platform needs.
  • Work with the engineers to prioritize, sequence, and deliver new capabilities while using our agile process and platform mentality.
  • Work with multiple internal teams to solicit feedback, gain consensus, and communicate all changes.

Your experience should include...

  • 7+ years of product management experience in building customer facing and platform-based products. CRM and commerce experiences would be a plus.
  • Platform product management approach, building products that can be used by a variety of business customers.
  • Confident leader who can prioritize well and communicate clearly across all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, make tradeoffs, and evaluate new ideas with technical employees.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, design, and marketing/business counterparts to deliver online products/services.
  • Strong entrepreneurial spirit - hard-working, individually accountable, passionate about business results who can completely own the delivery of high value initiatives
  • Experience working as a product owner (or with product owners) in a data-driven, agile environment.
  • Strong Project Management skills - rally several cross-functional teams to successful launches and keep the leadership up to date.
  • Excellent communication and people skills -- can work well with teams at all levels, including VP-Level executives.
