Job Description

KPMG is currently seeking an Associate, User Experience Designer to join our Insights Center (IC), a Data and Analytics (D&A) focused experiential center within KPMG Ignition organization – our national network of innovation centers.

The KPMG Insights Centers are physical state-of-the-art collaboration spaces dedicated to holding immersive experiences focused on client exploration of the impact of D&A on their organization. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the physical experience has been effectively transitioned to virtual using teleconferencing and online collaboration platforms, offering the opportunity to further demonstrate effective and innovative uses of technology.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in design-related ideation of project and business goals with teammates and stakeholders
  • Create end-to-end digital products, including experiences and interfaces with a team of cross-functional stakeholders
  • Help in creation of user experience artifacts such as outlines, wireframes, clickable prototypes and mockups as well as create and revise high-fidelity user interface screen designs
  • Hand-off assets to development and assist with QA testing
  • Generate and manage deliverable documentations such as style-guides and process-guides
  • Foster collaborative relationships with project teammates and stakeholders; Understanding of data visualization

Qualifications:

  • Minimum one year of design-related experience, creating user-experiences and user-interfaces across form-factor considerations
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, UX Design or a related field from an accredited college/university
  • Strong understanding of user experience design related deliverables such as information architecture, prototyping, workflow ideation and pixel design development; knowledge of web, software and product development process and methodologies
  • Working knowledge of Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, In Vision and other design tools; aware and abreast of current technology and design trends
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both client and internal settings; attention to detail and strong self-motivation skills, with the ability to build momentum and pivot in difficult situations; Willing and able to travel to client and KPMG locations as needed; Ability to multitask and be a self-starter
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States, without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
