PayPal is focused on maximizing the adoption, use, and preference for PayPal on-line by addressing customer needs, both merchant and consumer, more effectively than any other payments provider and by offering customers the best payment experience on the web. The Western Europe Marketing team aims at acquiring and engaging customers in over 10 markets.
This is a 6 month internship opportunity. Target start date July / August 2022

Your way to impact

This role works on the Southern Europe Markets (France, Italy, Spain, Portugal) and reports to the Head of Segment Marketing for Southern Europe. This role also collaborates with and interfaces with our broader Sales and Marketing teams within Europe and globally.


Your day to day

You will own projects in 4 areas:


  • Support the Southern Europe team in launching key seasonal and product-related campaigns, developing creative assets for owned and paid channels, and ensuring that deadlines are met.
  • Work hand-in-hand with central teams that are scaling these proven programs to the region: acquisition, reactivation, and lifecycle campaigns.
  • Help with the preparation of market deep dives, collating insights from market research and internal dashboards to understand trends in consumer behavior.
  • Maintain competitor benchmark.

  • Passion for digital marketing techniques and interest in customer behavior.
  • Very organized and strong attention to detail.
  • Love data as well as customer insights
  • Autonomous, coming with proposals and initiatives.
  • Collaborative, eager to work in an international environment and across multiple teams.
  • Team spirit, entrepreneurship, eagerness to take responsibility, sense of humor.
  • Concrete and action-oriented personality.
  • Fluent in English. Fluency in other European languages is an advantage.
