About the Role

We are looking for an Associate Product Manager to join the Events Product Management team. This team is responsible for the product vision and roadmap of Cvent’s Enterprise suite of products. You will help manage our current integrations related to event management. This work requires sound judgment, critical thinking, effective communication, and a sense of urgency. You must foster a team environment of shared ownership in project execution with third parties, and be able to effectively drive decisions with product stakeholders from across the company.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Collaborating with integration partners, engineers, customer success and other internal stakeholders to gather, analyze and document information needs and functional requirements
  • Managing the integration of third-party vendor tasks and track vendor deliverables
  • Working closely with end users, business stakeholders to understand user needs and drive product roadmaps
  • Anticipating bottlenecks, managing project item prioritization, making trade-offs and balancing business needs versus technical constraints
  • Identifying technical challenges/anomalies and coordinating appropriate resources for resolution
  • Project planning and execution – balancing business and technology stakeholder expectations regarding the project scope/components, priorities, schedule, and managing risk to these components
  • Working directly with sprint team(s) to ensure product success and quality
  • Producing internal training materials for new product features and modules
  • Acting as a subject matter expert for the Enterprise Integrations business function

What You Need for this Position:

  • Overall, 9-12 years of experience with 5+ years working with SaaS products
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with demonstrated ability to drive clarity and precision in product requirements
  • Comfort working collaboratively with cross-functional teams - distributed team of engineers, external third parties, product managers, and marketers.
  • Experience facilitating meetings with high level cross functional teams
  • The ability to use available resources to monitor and summarize system usage data
  • The ability to drive, contribute to, and communicate solutions to technical product challenges.
  • A sense of urgency, ownership and drive to get things done
  • A strong understanding of various software development processes, including requirements gathering, analysis and design, development tools and technologies, release and version control, contemporary testing methodologies, and deployment management
  • To be a self-starter with ability to conceive of and accept responsibility for projects to see them through to completion, must be able to work as individual contributor and to contribute as part of a larger team
  • Experience working on integrating software with third-party providers is a plus
