Application Support Engineer
This is your role. What part will you play?
· Coordinate with teams and resolve all complex application and system issues within defined SLAs
· Administer and resolve applications issues, provide updates, and perform root cause analysis.
· Plan, execute and implement applications and configuration change procedures.
· Supervise all alerts related to application and system procedures and provide services proactively.
· Install and prepare automation tools required for proper functioning of applications on regular basis.
· Perform root cause assessment and debug all issues on server domain, and availability of applications.
· Coordinate with departments and QA departments and administer code migrations in various environments and production outputs.
· Provide support and identify all issues and prepare appropriate documentation all issues and solutions.
· Manage all production system and recommend ways to optimize performance and provide solution to problems and prepare reports for all problems
· Perform backup and restore operations
· User onboarding activities
· Maintain SonarQube code quality tool
· Web & Application Server Admin (incl. patch management, Security, user management)
· PostgreSQL DB Admin (incl. patch management, Security, user management, Backup)
· Provide support during IST(India) and CET(Germany) time zones
We do not need superheroes, just super minds
· 2-3 years of experience in supporting a cloud based multi-tenant application
· Working in a web-solution environment (plus: with microservice architecture)
· Experience with Continuous Delivery / Continuous Integration and DevOps tools
· Knowledge of AWS
· Experience of working in a customer support environment
· Hands-on experience with scripting languages (Python, JavaScript etc.) is a big plus
· Teamwork-oriented, willingness to learn new technologies and sharing of this knowledge with the rest of the team
· Open to work in a multi-cultural environment and collaborate with overseas teams
· Agile development mindset and familiarity with the concepts of continuous testing, integration and delivery
· Excellent communication skills - communication with partners in Europe and US across multiple time zones
· Onsite experience will be a plus
