We are looking for an experienced and versatile full stack software engineer to ensure that we deliver the best in-class solution for PayPal Consumer Engineering products. You will be focused on developing a monitoring frameworks and tools for PayPal Consumer Engineering applications and beyond. You must be comfortable working in a dynamic environment and possess a strong aptitude for learning new technologies. You should have a history of working on product development and monitoring platform.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 4+ years professional experience in product development.
• 2+ years professional experience in monitoring and observability and building framework & tools.
• Proficient in any one of the modern programming language Java/JavaScript/Python/Go
• Good understanding of CI process and tools (Jenkins, Git, branching/merging, build systems).

• Experience in software development life cycle and methodologies.
• Experience in new technology and tools exploration and implementations.
• Understanding RESTful services and able to handle APIs.
• Good understanding of Cloud platform, Docker/Kubernetes, Databases SQL or NoSQL.
• Good to have a technology and open source contributions.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Job Responsibilities :

• Develop and maintain tools and frameworks for consumer engineering quality and observability team.

• Work closely with Architects, lead engineers and business on product design features.
• Manage source code and using continuous integration to maintain build systems.
• Prototype ideas quickly using cutting edge technologies and open sources.
