Lead a team of senior engineers that improve conversion rates, retention rates, lower cost of operations, and enhance site reliability by improving site performance. Create Cloudflare and Akamai tools to ensure management, deployment and reporting Assess, profile, tune, report and submit pull requests for web pages and micro-services that improve performance and reduce costs. Collaborate with architecture, development leads and product management React/Angular, Nodejs, Java; with infrastructure, containers, monitoring, and Database experience. Be a mentor, trainer, and with diverse teams

What you will do...

• Collaborate with teams to measure and address application performance issues.
• Create fixes for web pages and backend services
• Create CDN management and pipeline tools.
• Lead advanced usage of these CDN vendors and edge service concepts.
• Build different monitoring, profiling and engineering productivity tools
• Train teams in the use of performance profiling and diagnostics tools
• Develop libraries and frameworks that can improve performance, resiliency, and scalability of software at Ancestry.
• Report to Director Of Site Reliability and Quality

What you will do...

• 4+ years JavaScript development skills with a specialization in microservices running inside a Docker container in a cloud environment (preferably on AWS including ECS, EKS)
• 4+ years webpage(Frontend) performance tuning and /optimize.
• 6+ years experience in java,
• 5+ years resolving large-scale performance, scalability, and resiliency
• 4+ years application development
