What You'll Do:

• Work with the Product, Support, and Marketing teams to write and update technical documentation for our SharpSpring product
• Collaborate with Product Managers on documentation for all new feature releases
• Edit in-app language before release alongside Product and UX Design
• Ensure consistency throughout public-facing documentation
• Curate a changelog and regular release notes, both internally and externally
• Monitor metrics to track the performance of our Help Center articles

Who You Are:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 1-3+ years experience technical writing experience in a software development environment
• Understanding of marketing automation is a plus
• Consistent record of researching and writing excellent documentation
• Experience in software or high-tech vertical
• Experience with using Zendesk and JIRA is a plus
• Strong communication skills
• Hands-on approach to documentation
• Experience writing technical/helpdesk style materials, writing and updating helpdesk articles
• Ability to understand technical processes, software applications, and learn new material quickly
• Strong knowledge of English grammar and usage and solid proofreading skills
• Aptitude for nurturing a collaborative, upbeat, positive working environment that values creativity and innovation
• Genuine desire to learn challenging technical concepts and thrive in an environment of rapid change
