Job Description

What’s it all about?

This Analyst role is part of the Visa Payments Ltd (VPL) Finance Operations team, which is the function responsible for the Payments Reconciliations, Accounts Payables/Receivables (AP/AR), Sourcing and Partner Bank Account Management activities. The team is part of the broader VPL and Global Product organization with an indirect report to multiple areas of Visa’s Global Finance function.

VPL’s business is dependent on being able to route funds through its Network Partner Accounts quickly and without issue. The VPL Network consists of over 300 account with more than 50 different Network Partners and these numbers are continuously growing. This role will be responsible for managing all aspects of the VPL bank accounts, supporting with activities ranging from bank account opening and closing, satisfying partner bank KYC requirements, managing signatories on accounts and controlling user access to bank portals. This will require excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders across the business and externally.

What we expect of you, day to day.

  • Collation and execution of all documentation required to open bank accounts or support KYC requests, ensuring documentation accurate, complete, and signed in accordance with the bank mandate held with that bank
  • Maintain signatories for each Network Partner, removing and adding signatories in a timely manner as required
  • Provision of access to banking portals and managing token allocation to enable access as required
  • Complete regular reviews of roles-based access to partner accounts to validate access is provided to necessary stakeholders and account signatories
  • Perform annual auditable reviews to ensure accuracy over accounts held, user access and signatories held within each Network Partner
  • Provide information to set up virtual accounts in VPL’s internal systems in a timely manner and with accuracy
  • Interface to external agencies such as UK Companies House, Foreign & Commonwealth Office, Embassies and Public Notaries, etc
  • Maintaining Internal database repository for all network partner information
  • Liaise with Global Treasury team as part of network bank account approval process and ensure partner accounts comply with global policies
  • Assist Internal Bank Partner Managers with Bank Partner Contracts and Pricing Addendums

Qualifications

What we’re after...

  • Candidate must have previous work experience in bank account management including opening/closing accounts and managing KYC requests in addition to working with external parties such as Public Notaries
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Strength in managing projects, and demonstratable experience in managing multiple projects at any one time
  • Excellent communication skills, including clear written, oral, listening skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to facilitate problem identification, generate alternative solutions, adapt to changing situations and execute issues to a successful resolution
  • Ability to keep deadlines at a fast pace without losing accuracy
  • Able to work as part of a team or independently as work and projects required
  • Collaborative and able to interact with all levels of an organisation
  • Commitment and integrity
