Function in a first-line business management capacity for the Outboard Electronics & Sonobuoys portion of the Undersea Warfare market segment within the C6ISR line of business. Duties include: program cost management; monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasting; ROS and cash analysis and enhancement; management of EVMS for portfolio programs to include baseline management, performance reporting, management of DCMA surveillances; and support to MORs and quarterly CSRs. Manage, lead & mentor 1 direct report.
In addition to providing financial oversight, the successful candidate will also perform financial analyst duties on a critical, new franchise production opportunity with significant growth potential and Executive visibility. This role is in support of the start-up of the AN/SSQ-125A Sonobuoy Production program. The position will be located in Manassas, VA. Responsibilities include; Provide detailed weekly actuals analysis, funding, and mod reviews. Assist in PPMP and PM-PR-011 implementation, including generating monthly IPMRs, maintaining Earned-Value work products, and supporting monthly Variance Narrative reviews with the program team. Create and monitor charge numbers utilizing SAP and eWAD systems. Responsible for invoicing and collections. Support program reviews with Program Managers and Financial Management team. Provide overall financial support to program manager and integrated product team members ensuring that financial commitments are met. Prepare monthly outlook forecasts for Orders, Sales, EBIT, and Cash utilizing Hyperion. Also responsible for Long-Range Plans and annual Operating Plans for assigned programs.
Basic Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills with a demonstrated ability to present financial data/issues to leadership and customers
- Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills
- Strong knowledge and experience in program finance, FP&A, and Earned Value Management
- Experienced user of SAP/Hyperion
- Strong in Excel, also PowerPoint & Microsoft Office Suite
- Detailed Oriented
- Experience with Cost Control, Risk Identification and Management
- Highly Autonomous
- Effective builder of cross-functional relationships; Strong communicator
- Strong Analytical Skills
- Ability to excel in a fast paced & dynamic environment
