This role in the Release Readiness program of Cvent’s Project Management Office identifies and addresses processes impacting business divisions because of new product or feature releases. This role is the primary point of contact into all product-related impacts for the business, and will be responsible for driving alignment and change into the Finance, Sales, Marketing and Client Services departments, and owning progress reporting out to broader Release Readiness functions. This role will work closely with executive stakeholders in Sales, Technology, Client Services (CS), Marketing, and Finance, to help ensure that execution of the go to market strategy set by senior management.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Oversee the creation and ongoing execution of the operational readiness checklist and assessment for business divisions to standardize what attributes of a release have an impact on business processes
  • Lead and coordinate necessary decisions across all cross-functional teams preparing for each go-live. The scope of this work includes gaining alignment with senior management on expected impacts, go to market strategy, and associated execution
  • Identify necessary activities that must be completed to ensure business readiness
  • Develop project plans that document who, how, and by when critical activities will be completed
  • Develop or modify processes, documentation, CRM requirements, reporting, and other elements that require updating
  • Communicate expected impacts and process changes to all personnel
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with Marketing, Finance, Client Services, Sales and other departments to execute common deliverables and gather or provide input to these other groups
  • Develop readiness function in alignment with release readiness program and strategic direction of Cvent
  • Interface with stakeholders to understand their needs and will design and implement go to market projects

What You Need For This Position

  • 2-3+ years of experience in sales operations, sales, marketing operations, marketing, or a similarly process-oriented role preferred
  • Highly organized and comfortable with Project Management work
  • Has a strong operations background working on internal projects
  • Effective communicator with different stakeholder groups and levels of authority
  • Advanced PowerPoint,CPQ and Salesforce knowledge
  • Demonstrates an advanced level of written and oral communication skills
  • Exceptional ability to compile, analyze and present data, findings and progress in a concise manner
