Job Description
We are seeking a UX/UI designer who is detail-oriented, collaborative, and an effective communicator to join KPMG Lighthouse - Center of Excellence for Advanced Analytics.
This designer work at the intersection of Design, Data Science, Engineering, and Consulting. We are looking for someone to clearly define and prioritize UX problems and lead the effort to solve them. Candidate must be strong in conceptual thinking and UI design development and have clear communication skills. Additionally, candidate must work well within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team as well as independently, and are comfortable in a fast-paced environment. Experience creating for web applications and tools such as Adobe Suite, Figma, Mural, InVision or similar tools is required.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct user research and testing to define pain points.
- Create user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes to address user, product, and business needs.
- Collaborate with the platform and solution owners to carry product features from brainstorming to UX wireframes to high-fidelity UI mockups
- Develop and maintain our platform Style Guide which will align with our corporate Brand and Marketing guidelines and apply to our customer applications
- Maintain a comprehensive design library of reusable components in collaboration with front-end engineers
- Prioritize changes and improvements based on implementation constraints, impact, and complexity.
- Be a champion for good user experience, the keeper of our aesthetic integrity, and help us grow into our next phase of maturity as our user base explodes.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of professional experience as a UI and UX designer
- Experience working in Data and Analytics, AI, Cloud, and/or Technology
- Highly skilled in carrying product features from brainstorming to UX wireframes to high-fidelity UI mockups
- Solid grasp of UX and research methodologies, design systems, heuristics, usability testing methods and accessibility standards
- Expertise in tools such as Adobe Suite, Figma, Mural, InVision or similar tools
- Coherent portfolio of software design projects, with enterprise projects preferred
- Ability to evolve design elements to meet new product requirements, highly responsive to the iterative product development cycle
- Experience working with the front-end engineering team and sensitivity to implementation constraints
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship of a Visa now or in the future
