Requirements
- Reconcile bank accounts and assist international entities on cash entries
- Month end accruals, fixed assets reconciliations and other balance sheet reconciliations.
- Reviews and verifies accuracy of account balances and classifications. Analyzes changes in balance sheet and income statement accounts and makes recommendations to correct errors as appropriate.
- Manage various local and state use tax/property tax returns
- Manage Sales tax accrual and filing using Avalara
- Manage vendor onboarding and year end 1099 filing
- Assist in documenting internal processes/controls as well as identifying actionable insights and suggest recommendations to address issues and improve accounting processes/efficiencies.
- Participate in consolidated audit on preparing required schedules, identifying adjustment entries
- Adopt new accounting standards
- Partner with cross-functional teams on a regular basis to identify areas for improvement and solve problems
- Ability to multi-task, stay organized and prioritize deadlines in fast paced and continuously changing environment
- Participate in ad-hoc projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred
- Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and basic knowledge of international accounting requirements
- Minimum of 6 years of related work experience
- Big 4 accounting firm experience a plus
- CPA or equivalent a plus
- Experience with NetSuite or other large ERP system a plus, with experience in consolidations
- Advance knowledge of MS Excel and Power Point
- Promotes teamwork and works well with others
